HOW-TOS
1.
Transferring WhatsApp Chats from IOS to Android
There
are a few things to keep in mind before you begin the migration process.
Ascertain that you are using a new Android device or an Android 12 phone that
has been reset to factory settings. WhatsApp should be updated on your iPhone
and Android devices.
How
to transfer WhatsApp Chats from IOS to Android:
Step
1:
Connect
your Android device to your iPhone using a Type-C to Lightning cable.
Step
2:
On
your Android device, launch WhatsApp. A QR code will appear on the Screen of
your Android phone.
Step
3:
Scanning
the QR code from your iPhone is as simple as going to Settings > Chats >
Move Chats to Android. During this time, keep your phone unlocked. When the app
has finished preparing a backup, tap on Start Transfer.
Step
4:
Your
conversations, photos, and other media will now be transferred to your new
Android device. Make sure you don't use both devices simultaneously during the
transfer.
Remember
that WhatsApp will stop working on your older phone once you've transferred all
your data. With WhatsApp's Multi-Device Beta feature, you can continue to use
it on both Android and iOS at the same time. It allows you to have up to four
additional secondary devices and your primary phone running the same WhatsApp
account simultaneously.
Follow
these steps to enable this feature.
Step
1:
Open
the internet browser on your secondary device and navigate to WhatsApp Web. In
Desktop Mode, request the webpage.
Step
2:
Go
to WhatsApp > Settings > Linked Devices on your primary device.
Step
3:
Tap
on Multi-Device Beta, then join the beta.
Step
4:
Tap
the Link a Device button in the Devices section.
Step
5:
Point
your camera at the QR code with your secondary device.
That's
all. You can now use WhatsApp on both phones while not connected to the same
network. The overall user experience isn't as smooth as the primary device
because the feature is still in beta. Chats can take a while to load, and
downloading images and files can take even longer. This should improve with
future updates.
The chat migration feature is currently only available for Android 12 devices, which is unfortunate if you want to use an older Android device. There has been no official word from WhatsApp, but this feature could be coming to older Android versions in the coming months. 2. How
to add or remove a Gmail account on Android Phones?
You
can add accounts to your phone to access your email, contacts, and calendar and
download apps from the Google Play Store. When you add a Google account, the
information associated with that account syncs with your phone automatically.
When
you delete an account, it deletes everything associated with that account from
your phone. Email, contacts, and settings are all included.
Add
a Google or other account to your phone
Step
1:
Open
your phone's Settings app.
Step
2:
Tap
Passwords & accounts. If you don't see "Accounts," tap Users
& accounts.
Step
3:
Under
"Accounts for," tap Add account.
Step
4:
Tap
the type of account you want to add.
·
To add your Google
Account, tap Google. When you sign in with a Google Account, the email,
contacts, calendar events, and other data associated with that account
automatically sync with your phone.
·
To add a different
personal account, tap Personal (IMAP) or Personal (POP3). You'd generally
choose these if you use an email program like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail.
Learn how to use IMAP or POP3 with Gmail.
Step
5:
Follow
the on-screen instructions.
Step
6:
If
you're adding accounts, you may need to enter your phone's pattern, PIN, or
password for security.
Remove
a Google or other account from your phone
Step
1:
Open
your phone's Settings app.
Step
2:
Tap
Passwords & accounts. If you don't see "Accounts," tap Users
& accounts.
Step
3:
Under
"Accounts for," tap the account you want to remove and then Remove the account.
Step
4:
To
confirm, tap Remove account and then OK.
Step
5:
If this is the only Google Account on the phone, you'll need to enter your phone's pattern, PIN, or password for security.
3. How
to connect Laptop to The TV with Just a Few Simple Steps?
Situations:
· Wirelessly
connect your laptop to your TV.
· Connect
your laptop to your TV using cables.
Screen
mirroring has several advantages. It's not a difficult process; it improves the
overall experience of everything you do on your laptop. Laptops can now be
connected to almost any HDTV. It can be used to share interesting photos or
videos with friends and family. You can use it to get a more immersive
experience from your laptop while watching movies or playing games. Many
businesses now use televisions for meetings and presentations. Screen mirroring
has become a standard feature on televisions. You can use it if you have a
laptop and an HDTV at home by following a few simple steps. There are two ways
to connect your laptop to your television.
Wirelessly
connecting your laptop to your TV
In
this case, the laptop connects to the TV via Wi-Fi Direct, also known as
Miracast. This means you'll need a smart TV that supports Screen mirroring via
Wi-Fi Direct. Wireless screen mirroring must also be supported by your laptop.
This feature should be supported by the most recent laptops. You can look this up
online by looking at the specifications of the processor on your laptop. Both
devices can connect to each other directly using Wi-Fi Direct.
Using
the TV remote, change the source to Screen mirroring. It will display a screen
with the name of the TV. On the laptop, press the Windows key and enter
'Settings.' Then, under 'Connected devices,' select the 'Add device' option at
the top. All the devices which you can mirror will be listed in the drop-down
menu. Choose your TV, and the laptop screen will begin to mirror the TV. The TV
name is also saved in the list of connected devices, making it simple to
connect the laptop to the TV in the future.
Apple
MacBooks use AirPlay to mirror the Screen. However, your TV must support
AirPlay. AirPlay also requires that both devices be connected to the same
wireless network. The AirPlay option on the Apple Macbook can be found under
'Settings' and then 'Display.' Aside from that, the procedure is like that of a
Windows laptop.
Connecting your laptop to your TV
using cables
If
you don't have a smart TV, you can still use an HDMI cable to connect your
laptop to the TV. You can use it as an extended screen, as a dual-monitor
setup, in addition to mirroring your Screen. This greatly aids multitasking
when multiple applications are running across multiple displays. You can even
move applications from one screen to another by dragging them. Use an HDMI
cable to connect the laptop to the TV. Almost every laptop sold today includes
an HDMI port. HDMI cables can transmit full HD and 4K video and surround audio
to a television. If your computer does not have an HDMI port, you can use a VGA
(D-Sub) cable. Because VGA only transmits video, you'll need to use a 3.5mm
audio port to connect your laptop to the TV or external speakers. If your TV
does not support VGA, you will need to use an adaptor. Connect the HDMI (or
VGA) cable from the TV to the laptop first. Using the remote control, change
the TV's source to the HDMI port (or VGA).
On
a Windows PC, you can open display settings by pressing 'Windows key + P'.
Another shortcut may be available on some laptops. This will provide various
screen configurations -
Duplicate - This is like Screen mirroring. It mirrors your laptop screen to the television. It's best used when giving presentations where you also need the laptop screen in front of you.
Extend
enables you to use the TV as a secondary screen alongside the laptop's Screen.
You can drag windows from one Screen to another here. It is useful when working
on multiple applications concurrently.
This
option allows you to use the TV as the only Screen. The laptop screen goes
dark. This is useful for watching movies on the big Screen. You can also comfortably
sit away from the laptop on your sofa by connecting a USB keyboard and mouse.
Select
the desired configuration, and the laptop will begin mirroring on the TV. You
can also fine-tune the display settings to take full advantage of the TV's
screen size and resolution. In most cases, the laptop should display its
default resolution (1366 x 768) on the external Screen. However, if your laptop
supports it, you can set it to the TV's native resolution. If your laptop
supports 4K resolutions and your TV does, you can increase the resolution to
4K.
When
you use a high resolution, you get a much larger work area. For example, if you
set the resolution to 4K (3840 x 2160), you'll get four times the screen space
as with full HD TV. Change the resolution by going to the 'Display' settings
and then to 'Advanced.' Select the desired resolution from the list by clicking
on 'Resolution.' The procedure for connecting a MacBook to a TV is nearly
identical to that of a Windows laptop. Some MacBooks lack an HDMI port, so
you'll have to make do with a Mini-DisplayPort or a USB-C port. Whatever you
have on the MacBook, you'll need an adapter to connect it to the TV. On the
MacBook, you can also use the TV as an extended monitor and change the
resolution. These options can be found in 'System Preferences' > 'Display.'
These are some methods for connecting your laptop to your television. If you
don't want to use a cable and don't have a smart TV, you can always consider
buying a smart box or a casting device like Google Chromecast or Apple TV. They
are inexpensive and can provide you with Screen mirroring and a variety of
other media playback features on your non-smart TV.
